Why we built it

Most point-of-sale systems are made for one kind of shop in one country, and then adapted. Kenyan businesses sell with M-Pesa, report every sale to KRA, run a restaurant and a bar under one roof, and keep selling when the power or the internet goes. NanoPOS was designed around those facts from the first line.
