Tables and tabs
Waiters see which tables are free, taken or waiting for the bill. Orders go on the table's tab and to the kitchen, and the bill is settled when the guest is ready, together or split.
Floor plan
Tables placed by area (inside, terrace, rooftop), each showing who is serving it, how long it has been open and what it owes.
Tabs that follow the guest
Move a tab to another table, merge two tables or split a bill by item or by person.
Waiter handhelds
Take orders at the table on an Android handheld; they print in the kitchen before the waiter is back at the bar.
Pay later or pay first
Choose per branch: settle the bill at the end, or pay before the order is made for counter service.

Questions
Can two waiters work the same table?
Yes. Each order on the tab records who took it, so sales and tips can still be shared out fairly.
What happens to open tabs at the end of a shift?
They stay open and move to the next shift. Closing the business day asks you to settle or hand over any that are left.
