How we handle personal data on this website and in NanoPOS, under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
Who we are
NanoPOS is provided by Hathor Engineering Limited, a Copy Cat Group company in Nairobi, Kenya. Contact us about your data at nanopos@technosilicon.com.
What we collect
- What you send us to arrange a demo or ask a question: your name, business, phone number and email.
- For customers, the account details needed to run NanoPOS and to bill for it.
- The data your business records in NanoPOS (sales, stock, staff and customers), which we process on your behalf.
How we use it
To reply to you, provide and support NanoPOS, send invoices, meet our legal duties, including reporting to KRA eTIMS on your instructions, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used, by writing to us. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
How long we keep it
Demo requests are kept for up to 12 months. Account and billing records are kept as long as the law requires. Your business's data is kept while you use NanoPOS and can be exported at any time.
